What is the chemical used to kill the insects?

The air we breathe consists of 78% nitrogen, 21% of oxygen and 1% of other gasses. Thanks to the EcO2 technology we filter out the oxygen present in the air flushing pure nitrogen in the treatment room. Therefore, we lower the oxygen levels down to 0.5%. No toxic chemicals are used.

What are common pests?

Many common household pests can become a nuisance if not controlled. Most common include ants, cockroaches, mice and rats. These pests can carry diseases, contaminate food, and cause damage to your home. If you think you have a pest problem, it is important to contact a professional pest control company for an inspection and treatment plan.

Where do we offer pest control services?

We work all around Sydney, Newcastle, and South East Queensland, including Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane, covering suburbs from South Brisbane to Noosa, Gympie, Logan and Ipswich.

How Are Pests Getting in our Home?

There are numerous ways that pests can enter a home. Ants, roaches, and even mice can enter through impossibly tiny cracks and crevices as they search for food and shelter. To lessen the chances of pests intruding into your home, be sure to keep any branches, shrubs, piles of firewood, decorative rocks, and any other aspect of landscaping well-maintained. For example, if you’ve got a pile of firewood adjacent to your home, be sure to roll around the logs every so often to decrease the chance of pests beginning to form nests in the area, or have them raised off the ground. Properly stacking any piles of firewood would also be beneficial and optimal. Spiders, ants, and other pests have been known to use trees, shrubs, and parts of gardens as ladders into homes through windows, cracks in brick siding, etc. Before applying any treatment, Stomp Pest Control inspects and pinpoints potential problem areas that may need to be tended to, but it is your job to make sure that these areas get the alteration that they need. What size is suitable for my production?

What size is suitable for my production?

EcO2 Controlled Atmosphere solutions are customizable to the customers production capacity and facility space. As products will be treated for a few days, it is recommended to consider having more than 1 unit to ensure the flow of goods are maintained. Please contact us for further information on the system and how it could benefit your business.

What are the signs of a spider infestation?

Spiders are generally considered beneficial insects since they prey on other pests, such as flies and mosquitoes. However, some spiders can become pests themselves when they infest homes in large numbers. While a few spiders in your home may not cause alarm, seeing multiple spiders or spiderwebs is a sign of an infestation. Other signs of a spider problem include finding egg sacs or hearing strange noises behind walls or attics.

How Long Does Pest Control Take?

It depends case-by-case. Certain pests take longer to deal with than others, and certain homes are larger and more complicated to service than others. Some General Pest Treatments can take as little as 20-30 minutes while others like extensive Termite Treatments may take up to 8 hours depending on the severity of the issue and type of treatment that is needed.

How Long Should Pest Control Last?

The strongest products on the market last 60-90 days. After that, they biodegrade and become a part of the natural environment; otherwise, they wouldn’t be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  The weather also affects the efficacy of our treatments – but not as much as you’d think. Next time it rains, look at the base of your home; chances are, it’s still dry.  This means the barrier spray is still going strong.  And for our yard treatment, the granules we use are water activated, so the rain is actually beneficial.

But, at times, the products do wear off before we come out next, so this is where a free re-service will come in handy.
